Golden Bear Amateur Radio Net Preamble

QST,QST,QST This is (your name and call) net control station for the Golden Bear Amateur Radio Net. This traffic net meets daily at 1900 hours Pacific Time on approximately 3975 Kilohertz.

The net objective is to maintain a system capable of providing limited communication service if normal services are disrupted or unavailable.

Only traffic legal for transmission by amateur radio will be accepted. Third party traffic must identify station and place of origin.

The Net and its members assume no responsibility for the results of there effort to provide communication assistance as a free public service.

Roll call may be interrupted only for emergency traffic.

Members are urged to be on time for roll call and to remain on frequency to assist with traffic. This will aid net and area controls to conduct roll call rapidly and to expedite traffic.

This is a directed Net: Please do not transmit unless invited by net or area control.
